True Beauty by Jean Pullman
True beauty is in the way she laughs
True beauty is in her eyes
True beauty is how she acts
True beauty is inside
True beauty is unseen
True beauty is only felt
True beauty is not mean
True beauty is herself
True beauty can't be cruel
True beauty is bare
True beauty is within you
True beauty is always there
True Beauty can't be covered with makeup
True beauty means true love
True beauty can't be baked up
True beauty is the flight of a dove
True beauty has no flaws
For True beauty is all that matters after all
True beauty is in her eyes
True beauty is how she acts
True beauty is inside
True beauty is unseen
True beauty is only felt
True beauty is not mean
True beauty is herself
True beauty can't be cruel
True beauty is bare
True beauty is within you
True beauty is always there
True Beauty can't be covered with makeup
True beauty means true love
True beauty can't be baked up
True beauty is the flight of a dove
True beauty has no flaws
For True beauty is all that matters after all
This poem helps continue the point that True inner beauty is from inside and not the look of something/someone on the outside. It is more so felt in the heart and the way people do the things they do. My highlighted lines of this poem show how it relates to my first quote by Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart." Some lines such as; True beauty is inside, true beauty is unseen, true beauty is within you, and the one that relates the most would be true beauty is only felt. Which isn't always true being as you can see inner beauty by the way people "do," but in the perspective of someone who has no sight or hearing, this poem shows true beauty through a way that Helen Keller could relate to and also anyone who has normal vision or hearing.
